We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. You will receive information about the start of your tour in the afternoon, either directly or through the information board located at the reception of the hotel.

Athens, city tour and evening transfer.
We´ll embark on a city tour guided by a local expert, covering prominent sites such as the Presidential Mansion, the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held, the National Library, and the bustling squares of the city center. We´ll also explore the newer neighborhoods that developed after the 2004 Olympic Games. The tour will conclude at the Acropolis (admission not included). In the evening, we´ll provide a transfer to the historical neighborhood of Plaka, renowned for its charming Greek tavernas and vibrant atmosphere where you can experience the rich folklore of this country.

Sea views and fantastic landscapes of the Meteora and Orthodox monasteries.
Wear appropriate clothing (women will be provided with skirts upon arrival at the monastery). Also, wear comfortable footwear as you will need to climb many steps! 08:00 a.m. Departure from Athens. We’ll head north and travel through pleasant Mediterranean landscapes. 10:15 a.m. Kamena Vourla. This charming seaside tourist center offers magnificent scenery. You´ll have time for a stroll and a coffee. 11:15 a.m. Departure from Kamena Vourla. Continuing through the Greek hinterland, we’ll make a brief stop at the mountain pass where the Battle of Thermopylae took place. 01:45 p.m. Kastraki. We´ll stop for lunch in this picturesque town at the foot of the Meteora, where the views are magnificent! After lunch, we´ll visit the Meteora, an impressive UNESCO World Heritage site with monasteries that seem to "hang" from the rocks. We´ll stop to visit one of the monasteries (admission included) and see the remaining ones perched atop immense rock formations. Accommodation will be in Kalabaka, a small town in the center of the Meteora region. Dinner will be included.

Departure from Kalabaka. We’ll travel through Thessaly towards Central Greece, enjoying spectacular sea views, before reaching Delphi.
Delphi. Admission included to the beautiful archaeological complex overlooking the Gulf of Corinth, a magical place. There will be time for lunch.
Departure from Delphi. We’ll continue our journey amidst mountains with Mount Parnassus dominating the landscape.
Hosios Loukas Monastery. Arrival at one of the most beautiful Byzantine monasteries in Greece, a World Heritage Site, with breathtaking 11th-century mosaics.

Athens.
Stunning landscapes of the Mediterranean and Delphi.
The order of the day’s program may vary; we may visit the Hosios Loukas Monastery before Delphi.

Athens – Departure. We leave the Greek capital behind as we head toward the Peloponnese, a land of legends and unique natural settings.
Corinth Canal – Arrival. Brief stop to admire this feat of engineering that connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian. The narrow canal, with its towering rocky walls, impresses with its majesty.
Corinth Canal – Departure. We travel along beautiful coastal scenery to the port of Galatas.
Galatas – Arrival. From here, we take a short 15-minute ferry ride to the island of Poros.
Poros – Arrival. This charming island delights visitors with its traditional houses climbing up to the Clock Tower and its lively Mediterranean atmosphere. Free time to stroll and have lunch.
Poros – Departure. Return by ferry to the mainland to continue our journey.
Epidaurus – Arrival. Visit to the famous theater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, magnificently preserved after 2,400 years. With a capacity of 14,000 spectators, it is still used today for performances thanks to its extraordinary acoustics. Admission included.
Epidaurus – Departure. We travel toward the coast through hilly landscapes.
Nafplio – Arrival. This historic city, dominated by Venetian fortresses, features a charming old town with cobblestone streets and lively squares. Free time to stroll and enjoy its maritime atmosphere. Dinner included.
Crossing the Peloponnese Peninsula, we enjoy views of the Aegean Sea, hills covered with olive groves, and charming small villages.

Departure from Nafplio. We´ll journey across the mountains of the Peloponnese hinterland.
Tripoli. We’ll stop in the capital of Arcadia. There´ll be free time to explore Areos Square with its cafes and restaurants.

Olympia.
There will be free time for lunch, followed by a guided tour of the Archaeological Site of Olympia (included). This site hosted the first Olympic Games in 776 BC, drawing athletes from all over Greece and its colonies. Key landmarks include the Temple of Zeus, the Stadium, the Gymnasium, and the Arena. After the guided tour, there will be additional free time to explore the museum at your leisure if you wish.
Departure from Olympia. We’ll enjoy scenic mountain landscapes and pass through picturesque villages along the way.
Patras. Arrival at Greece’s third-largest city, a bustling port city overlooked by a medieval fortress. It´s home to Greece´s largest cathedral, a significant pilgrimage site, as well as the nearby old church of St. Andrew. Dinner will be included.
Beautiful Mediterranean landscapes and mountain views from the Peloponnese hinterland.
During the hottest summer months, we recommend using sunscreen and carrying a small bottle of water with you.

Departure from Patras. After breakfast, we’ll depart Patras via the Antirrio River bridge, a spectacular suspension bridge connecting the Peloponnese with the Greek mainland. We’ll travel through the regions of Central Greece and Epirus.
Igoumenitsa. We’ll have time for a stroll in this port town.
Transfer to the port to board the ferry (departure scheduled for 02:00 p.m.) that will take us across the Ionian Sea to Italy.
Enjoy the scenery from the deck. 09:00 p.m. (local time, one hour behind Greece) – Brindisi – Arrival, transfer to the hotel, and accommodation.
We’ll journey through the heart of Central Greece before taking a ferry across the Ionian Sea.

Alberobello.
Enjoy time to explore this charming town, famous for its unique conical-shaped houses known as trulli . These distinctive structures, with their stone-stacked roofs, are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a remarkable example of Italian rural architecture.
Departure from Alberobello. We’ll head into the Basilicata region.
Matera.
Arrival in this breathtaking city, renowned for its ancient historic center and the Sassi di Matera, a network of ancient dwellings and structures carved into the rock, dating back thousands of years. Matera is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest continuously inhabited human settlements in the world. You’ll have time to explore and enjoy an included lunch.
Departure from Matera. We’ll continue through Basilicata and Campania, taking in the beautiful mountain landscapes.
Naples. Arrival in the evening. We recommend taking a stroll through this impressive city.
Today, we’ll explore two spectacular and authentic towns.
Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, especially for Matera.

Departure from Naples by ferry. The boat trip will last approximately one hour, offering picturesque views.
Arrival at the island of Capri.
You´ll have free time to stroll and enjoy lunch on this jewel of the Tyrrhenian Sea, where nature, breathtaking views, glamour, and history come together in perfect harmony. We recommend taking the funicular up to the center of Capri to wander through the village’s elegant streets, lined with boutiques and charming terraces.
We’ll take a ferry (schedules may vary) to Sorrento, enjoying beautiful scenery along the way.
Sorrento. We’ll explore this charming and lively town perched on a cliff, with its port located in the lower area.

Salerno. Arrival and accommodation. Would you like to take a stroll through this vibrant southern Italian city?
Stunning landscapes in the Bay of Naples and Sorrento.
65 km, plus boat trip.
Part of this trip will be by boat, so we recommend bringing warm clothes. Don’t forget your camera in case you want to photograph the breathtaking views. Due to weather conditions, ships connecting Naples with Capri or Capri with Sorrento may not operate. In such cases, the route will be modified to arrive at Sorrento by highway and visit Amalfi instead of Capri.
During the winter months, the schedules will be modified (departing earlier from Naples) to make the most of the daylight.

Total distance covered by road: 475 km.
Departure from Salerno. We’ll travel south through Italy, enjoying views of mountains and charming villages. Our route will take us along the picturesque coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola. There will be time to explore this beautiful sanctuary set in stunning surroundings. Don’t miss the chance to visit the cave! Afterward, there will be free time for a stroll and lunch in the charming old town of Paola.
Departure from Paola. We’ll continue to Villa San Giovanni, arriving around 4:30 p.m., where we’ll board a ship for a short 20-minute crossing to the island of Sicily.
Messina. You’ll have time to explore the city center and enjoy your first experience on the island.

Taormina. Arrival at our hotel. Dinner will be included.

We recommend bringing warm clothes to enjoy the ferry crossing between the Italian Peninsula and Sicily.
Accommodation will typically be in the Taormina region, though on certain dates, it may be in Messina.

Taromina – free day.
This enchanting and small coastal city, nestled at the foot of Mount Etna is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean. Winston Churchill once described it as the most beautiful place on earth. Take time to stroll through the vibrant historic quarter, visit the Greek theatre with its breathtaking views, or relax on the beaches. Dinner will be included.

Taormina – Departure. We descend toward the plain of Catania, at the foot of Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe.
Catania – Arrival and free time to stroll through this city at the foot of Mount Etna, which blends history, art, and Mediterranean life.
Its Baroque center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, impresses with squares such as the emblematic Piazza del Duomo, with the Elephant Fountain as the city’s symbol, and beautiful palaces built in volcanic stone, along with the bustling fish market, one of the most picturesque in Sicily.
Catania – Departure. We continue south along the coast.
Syracuse – Arrival.
An ancient jewel of Magna Graecia on the Ionian Sea, renowned for its historical and cultural heritage. On its island of Ortigia, the historic core connected by bridges, you’ll find highlights such as the cathedral, built over a Greek temple, and the Maniace Castle, along with lively narrow streets, seaside terraces, and markets. Free time to stroll and have lunch.
Syracuse – Departure. We cross the island’s interior, passing through hills and farmland.
Agrigento – Arrival. Before reaching the hotel, from our coach we will admire the imposing Valley of the Temples, one of the most extraordinary archaeological sites in Sicily. Dinner included.
Fertile fields covered with vineyards and citrus groves, as well as the Ionian coast, where history and sea intertwine in unforgettable scenery.

Today we’ll explore archaeological sites that highlight the influence of ancient Greece in Sicily.
Accompanied by a local guide, we’ll visit the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, an impressive archaeological site renowned for its well-preserved Greek temples (admission included).

Marsala. Arrival in this historic city known for its vibrant atmosphere and famous wine. We’ll have time for lunch.

Erice. This picturesque Phoenician town, perched atop a hill and surrounded by ancient walls, invites us to take a leisurely stroll.

Palermo. Dinner and accommodation.

After breakfast, we’ll begin our guided tour of Palermo.
We’ll transfer to the charming village of Monreale, now located on the outskirts of the city. Here, we’ll visit the stunning Arab-Norman cathedral, a World Heritage Site renowned for its magnificent golden mosaics (tickets included). Back in Palermo, we’ll explore the cathedral (tickets included), famous for its eclectic architectural styles and royal tombs. We’ll also visit the Norman Palace (former Royal Palace), its fountains, markets, and gardens. Our panoramic tour will conclude at the Teatro Massimo Square, after which you’ll have free time for lunch and a leisurely stroll.
We’ll transfer you to the port to board a modern night ferry, which will depart at 08:00 p.m.
Our night cruise across the Mediterranean will include accommodation in double cabins with private bathrooms. Please note that breakfast is not included on the ferry. The ferry will be equipped with all modern comforts, including restaurants, bars, a banquet hall, and spacious lounges.
Remember to prepare a small bag for the night crossing; bulky luggage will remain in the coach for the night.
Occasionally, due to weather conditions or changes in ferry schedules, we may need to use a different ferry than originally planned. These changes are often communicated on short notice and may affect services scheduled for Sunday.

Naples – one of the most fascinating cities in Italy and among the oldest populated places in Europe. The historic center Naples is one of the largest in Europe and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There will be time for a stroll and lunch.

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes to walk around Pompeii. We’ll arrive at the Port of Naples at 7:30 in the morning. After disembarking, we’ll depart for Pompeii, the ancient Roman city buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius two thousand years ago. Admission and a guided tour are included to explore the history of this remarkable site.
Depending on the arrival time in Naples (which may vary due to maritime conditions and shipping line) and the time of year, the visit to Pompeii may take place either before or after your free time in Naples. During cooler periods, it is typically scheduled after Naples.

After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
Please be aware that the hotel check-out time is usually 10:00 a.m. You can leave your luggage in reception upon check-out, allowing you to explore the city without carrying your bags. You can retrieve your luggage at your convenience later in the day. If you require additional time to use your room, we recommend booking an extra night at the end of your tour.
