The route also calls at Cáceres, Zaragoza, Poblet, English Channel and Canterbury. 10 UNESCO listed sights sit on the itinerary, among them El Retiro Park and Notre Dame Cathedral.
Travel is by coach with an English speaking guide, and hotels and breakfast are included, along with your arrival transfer.

We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. You will receive information about the start of your tour in the afternoon, either directly or through the information board located at the reception of the hotel.

Sightseeing tour of Lisbon.
In the morning, you’ll enjoy a city tour with a local guide lasting approximately 2 hours. You’ll get to know the Portuguese capital of the seven hills, with its charming alleys, iconic tiles, the feeling of "saudade," and the beautiful Atlantic light. Our tour will include stops at the following points: Eduardo VII Park, Baixa Pombalina (Marquis of Pombal Square, Rossio with views of São Jorge Castle and Alfama), Estrela neighborhood, Estrela Basilica, the Monument of the Discoveries, Belém Tower, and the Jerónimos Monastery. The visit will conclude in the city center. You´ll have free time in the afternoon to further explore the city. We recommend taking the Glória Funicular to visit Bairro Alto and the São Pedro viewpoint. Optionally, our guide will offer visits to the picturesque towns of Sintra, with its castle, and Cascais and Estoril by the seaside.
We’ll return to the hotel from the lively Restauradores Square, filled with vibrant bars and cafes.

Departure from Lisbon. We’ll cross the beautiful region of Alentejo.
Estremoz. A charming town with a medieval castle, cobblestone streets, beautiful architecture, and a peaceful atmosphere that embody the Portuguese identity.

We’ll cross into Spain, passing through pastures as we enter Extremadura. 01:30 p.m. (12:30 p.m. in Portugal) – Cáceres. Time for lunch and a walk through its historic center, one of the best-preserved medieval and Renaissance urban complexes in the world.

Madrid - Arrival and transfer to Plaza Mayor, bustling with restaurants and lively atmosphere.

There is a one-hour time difference between Spain and Portugal. When it´s 11:00 in Portugal, it´s 12:00 in Spain.

The day will begin around 09:15 a.m.
with a city tour through the center of Madrid, featuring landmarks such as Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. We´ll then visit Retiro Park, a serene oasis in the heart of the city, where we’ll see the lake and the Palacio de Cristal. Our next stop will be the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the iconic home of Real Madrid. Here, we’ll explore the areas reserved for players, the public sections, and a small museum dedicated to the team, often hailed as the best in the world. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. In the evening, we will return to the hotel.

Departure from Madrid. We’ll make a brief stop along the way.
Zaragoza. Our guide will provide information about the city, leaving you in Plaza del Pilar to visit the basilica and enjoy lunch.

Poblet Abbey. We’ll visit this beautifully preserved medieval monastery, surrounded by ancient walls in a picturesque setting (admission included).

Barcelona.
Varied, with rugged sections, arid areas, and Mediterranean landscapes towards the end.

In the morning, we take a panoramic tour with our guide or a local guide of Barcelona, one of Europe’s great cities, renowned for Gaudí and its modernist architecture.
The tour passes by the Columbus Monument, Plaza de Catalunya, Paseo de Gracia, Diagonal Avenue, the Sagrada Familia, Montjuïc with its Olympic facilities, and Plaza de España. At the Sagrada Familia, we will make a stop to admire this landmark. The tour ends at the Maremagnum, a modern leisure and dining complex by the sea next to Columbus Square, where you can stroll through this lively area. After the city tour, our guide will offer the option of visiting Gaudí’s masterpiece and the city’s iconic symbol, the Sagrada Familia, as an optional activity. Afternoon at leisure.

At the time scheduled by your guide, we will arrange a transfer to the station for your high-speed train journey from Barcelona to Paris, included in your trip.
In just over 6 hours, you´ll arrive at your destination in comfort. Upon arrival, we will provide a transfer to your hotel. Your guide will either contact you in the evening, or you can check the information posted at the hotel reception.
The train journey will not be accompanied by a the operator tour guide.

Versailles.
Arrival to the Palace of Versailles (admission not included; please note that there may be long lines to enter due to the large number of visitors). This grand palace, once the residence of French kings, offers a fascinating glimpse into the culture and history of France.

Departure time may vary if there are delays entering the palace. Upon returning to Paris, we’ll head to Montmartre, a bohemian artists’ district where we can admire the Sacré Coeur Basilica and wander through its picturesque square and winding alleys.
We’ll start a two-and-a-half-hour panoramic tour of Paris with a local guide.
This tour will take us to iconic landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, La Madeleine, Place de la Concorde, the Opera, the Louvre, the Tour Saint-Jacques, the City Hall, Île de la Cité with Notre-Dame, the Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne, the Luxembourg Garden, Les Invalides, the École militaire, Champ de Mars, the Eiffel Tower and the banks of the Seine. We’ll have brief stops near Les Invalides and Champ de Mars. After the tour, we’ll return to the hotel, with an optional stop in the city center for those who want to enjoy more free time in Paris.
Due to the high volume of tourism in Paris, the order of the services offered in the city may vary.

Departure from the hotel.
We’ll head to the Eiffel Tower, where tickets to the second floor are included (please note that there may be long waits due to the high number of visitors). The second floor offers the best views, providing an optimal altitude for seeing the city below (which is less visible from the third floor) and offers a better overall perspective compared to the first floor. From this vantage point, you can see up to 70 km on a clear day. After descending the tower, we’ll enjoy a scenic boat trip along the Seine River, offering stunning views of Paris´ iconic monuments and bridges. This journey lasts approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. Afterward, you’ll have some free time.
We’ll depart from Paris and head to Rouen.
Rouen. Enjoy free time to explore and dine in the historic center of Normandy’s capital. This vibrant city, with roots dating back to Roman times, boasts charming medieval architecture and an impressive Gothic cathedral.
Transfer to the hotel and accommodation.
If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are too long, we might reschedule the visit to a different time (or on Sunday) for your convenience.

Departure from Rouen. We’ll head north through France.
Port of Calais.
We’ll board the ferry to cross into the United Kingdom at around 12:30 p.m. and go through customs and border checks. The ferry journey lasts approximately one and a half hours. You’ll travel on a modern ferry equipped with all the amenities, including restaurants, bars, lounges, game rooms, currency exchange, and shops. 01:30 p.m. (02:30 p.m. in France) - Dover. Upon arrival, we’ll disembark and make our way to Canterbury. Please note that this schedule is indicative, and the actual arrival time may vary depending on ferry availability.
Canterbury. Enjoy free time to explore this beautiful medieval city, renowned for its impressive cathedral and vibrant streets lined with traditional architecture.

London. We´ll arrive and stop at one of the city´s most iconic landmarks, Tower Bridge. This Victorian-era drawbridge, built to connect the two banks of the Thames, is now surrounded by the city´s modern buildings.

In the early morning, we’ll start a panoramic tour with a local guide.

During the tour, you’ll see Hyde Park, Oxford Street, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London, River Thames, Piccadilly Circus, the Parliament, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, where you may have the chance to witness the famous Changing of the Guard, depending on the time of year. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace. Our guide will offer an optional excursion to the Thames Valley including the town of Windsor crowned by the stunning Castle.
In the evening, we’ll meet at Piccadilly Circus to take a stroll through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho, areas known for their vibrant atmosphere, theaters, and entertainment.
Enjoy dinner at a restaurant of your choice, offering options such as Indian, Chinese, Thai, or international cuisine. After dinner, we’ll return to the hotel.

In the morning, we’ll provide a transfer to the British Museum, one of the world´s most renowned and oldest museums, showcasing artifacts from cultures around the globe.
Our guide will explain how to navigate the different rooms, and we especially recommend visiting the ancient Egypt area. You’ll have free time to explore on your own. At lunchtime, we’ll transfer to Camden, known for its vibrant shops and markets. Here, you can browse items from various cultures and enjoy lunch at one of the many small restaurants or food stands in this popular area. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your leisure. Our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful and lasting memories. Please, check the time of your flight in case you might need an additional night. Our guide will advise you on the best public transportation for your transfers. If you need to book an external service (like a plane or train) on the last day of your tour, which includes activities, please note that the detailed itineraries are based on "planned" schedules and could be affected by various factors such as traffic, customer delays, mechanical issues, etc. It´s advisable not to book a flight or train with a tight schedule without considering these factors.
