We’ll have free time for lunch at the Zócalo in Mexico City. After lunch, we’ll visit the Basilica of Guadalupe, the most visited Catholic shrine in the Americas, home to the Virgin of Guadalupe. There, we’ll see both the old 18th-century basilica and the modern temple.
Return to the hotel.
In the evening, we’ll head to Plaza Garibaldi (transfer included), famous for its many cantinas, restaurants, and bars where tacos and tequila are served and Mariachi bands fill the night with music.
Dinner is included at a typical Mexican restaurant, where we’ll toast with a tequila and enjoy traditional Mariachi songs.
Mexico City – Departure. We’ll leave the capital behind and head into the country’s interior along a route rich in history and mountain scenery.
