Welcome to Mexico! Upon arrival, we’ll provide a transfer to the hotel, after which you will have free time. Our guide will contact you late in the afternoon.
If you requested additional nights, your room will be ready upon arrival at the hotel, but your trip guide will only contact you when the included activities begin. Until then, you’ll have free time to enjoy at your leisure.
The schedules provided in this itinerary are indicative. The guide may adjust them as needed to enhance the trip experience.

08.45 a.m.
Mexico City – Departure after breakfast. We will begin our tour with a brief stop at the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, where pre-Hispanic vestiges, colonial architecture and modern elements converge. We will continue towards the northeast until we reach one of the most emblematic archaeological sites in the country. 10:30 a. m. Teotihuacan (entrance included) – Arrival. We will explore the ancient sacred city, declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. We will visit the majestic Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the temple of Quetzalpapálotl, the citadel and the Avenue of the Dead. We will also visit a craft center where we will learn about ancient techniques for making obsidian and other typical materials. Teotihuacan – Departure, back to the capital. Before returning to Mexico City, we will make a special visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of America and main pilgrimage center on the continent, where we will contemplate its modern architecture and the original cloak of Lady of Guadalupe. Return to the hotel and rest of the day free. Accommodation.
We will travel through the central highlands of Mexico, between urban areas and semi-arid fields, until we reach the imposing plain where the pyramids of Teotihuacán stand, framed by hills and maguey vegetation.

01:30 p.m. (Approx) Mexico City – After lunch time, we´ll take the transfer (included) to the bus station to take a regular bus to Querétaro. The journey will allow us to enjoy the contrasts between the urban dynamism of the capital and the more peaceful landscape of the country´s interior. 05:30 p.m. (approx.) Arrival. Transfer to the hotel is included. Free time to begin walking through this charming colonial city founded in 1531. Recognized for its key role in the history of independence and the Mexican Revolution, its historic city center has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. During your stay you can explore its cobbled alleys at your own pace, visit baroque churches, squares full of life and admire the majestic 18th century aqueduct. Its traditional markets and gardens invite you to discover the vibrant soul of the Mexican interior.
We will cross the central plateau of Mexico, with its extensive plains, semi-arid and panoramic cactus areas, small haciendas and traditional towns.
The journey by regular bus will be made without an accompanying the operator guide.

8:30 a.m.
(Approx.) Querétaro – After breakfast, a local tourist company will pick us up at the hotel to take the “Magic, Wine and Cheese” excursion. 10:00 a.m. San Sebastian de Bernal. Arrival in this charming “Pueblo Mágico” (Magical Town), known for its peaceful and traditional atmosphere. We will walk through its alleys filled with textile crafts, under the shadow of the majestic monolith of Peña de Bernal, the third largest in the world. Time to take photographs and enjoy this place full of spirituality and culture. 12:30 p.m. Tequisquiapan – Arrival. This colonial town is famous for its mineral waters, its relaxed atmosphere and its alleys with viceregal architecture. We will take a guided tour (Included) to learn about the history of the place, with time to visit its artisan market and admire its typical hand-woven baskets. We will enjoy a gastronomic experience (Included) in the San Patricio Winery and the Bocanegra cheese cellar, learning about the cheese making process and the challenges of viticulture at altitude. We’ll culminate the visit with a regional cheese and wine, tasting, a delight for the senses. Return to the city of Queretaro at the end of the afternoon.
We will travel through the heart of the Querétaro highlands, between crop fields, golden hills, emerging vineyards and towns that seem frozen in time, under the imposing gaze of the Peña de Bernal monolith.

Free morning in Queretaro.
03:30 p.m. (Approx.) Querétaro – Departure. We will head towards one of the historical jewels of the region: Hacienda Atongo, located about 40 km away. The road will take us through agricultural landscapes and small towns in the Querétaro highlands. 04:30 p.m. Hacienda Atongo – Arrival. This 17th century hacienda welcomes us with its period atmosphere. We will carry out a theatrical visit included, in which actors dressed as historical figures will guide us through the old town, the gardens and the vineyard. It will be a tour full of history and emotions, ideal for transporting yourself to the past and understanding the rural and stately life of yesteryear. At the end, we will enjoy a refreshing drink made with the estate´s wine, closing the experience with local flavor. Return to the city of Querétaro. Free night to continue enjoying the city’s vibrant cultural and gastronomic offer.
We will enjoy gentle hills, agricultural fields and rural roads that evoke the viceregal past of central Mexico, framing the historical environment of old haciendas.

Querétaro – Departure. We’ll begin our journey south, entering regions rich in history and culture.
Tula – Arrival.
We’ll visit the archaeological site of Tula ( entrance included ), the ancient capital of the Toltecs, a civilization that laid the foundations for many Mesoamerican traditions. Among its most remarkable structures are the Atlantes, impressive four-meter-tall warrior statues carved in stone — symbols of the Toltecs’ military strength. You’ll also find remains of pyramids, palaces, and intricately carved columns that reveal the sophistication of this culture.
Tula – Departure. We’ll continue by road toward one of Mexico’s most emblematic colonial cities.
Puebla – Arrival.
After lunch, we’ll enjoy a panoramic tour of this UNESCO World Heritage city, famous for its exquisite cuisine (the birthplace of mole poblano ), Baroque colonial architecture, and Talavera ceramics. Highlights include its grand Renaissance-style cathedral, one of the most impressive in the Americas, and its lively Zócalo, a vibrant meeting place surrounded by arcaded walkways. There will be free time to stroll and enjoy lunch in its historic center.
We’ll travel across the central Mexican highlands, passing through cultivated fields, mountain ranges, and volcanic landscapes.

Departure from Puebla. We’ll leave the capital of the state of Puebla behind as we enter Oaxaca, a region known for its rich cultural, archaeological, and culinary heritage. The journey will take us through mountains, canyons, and sweeping natural scenery.
Oaxaca.
Arrival in the capital city of Oaxaca, renowned for its harmonious architecture and strong Indigenous identity. After lunch, we’ll head up to one of Mexico’s most iconic archaeological treasures: Monte Albán. Located 400 meters above the Oaxaca Valley, this ancient ceremonial center was the capital of the Zapotec civilization for over a thousand years. We’ll explore its platforms, pyramids, ball courts, and ornately decorated tombs while learning about the worldview and structure of this great civilization (admission and guided tour included). After the visit, we’ll return to Oaxaca for a panoramic tour of its historic center, recognized as a World Heritage Site. We’ll admire its stunning Cathedral, the Church of Santo Domingo, and the lively plazas and colonial streets brimming with life. You’ll then have free time to continue enjoying the unique atmosphere of this city, also celebrated for its handicrafts, mezcal, and diverse traditional cuisine.
We’ll cross the southern mountain ranges of Mexico, passing dramatic highland landscapes, fertile valleys, and rural villages where ancient traditions are still alive.

Departure from Oaxaca. We’ll begin a day rich in cultural and natural beauty, traveling along roads that connect two states deeply rooted in the country’s Indigenous heritage.
San Pablo Villa de Mitla.
Arrival in this Pueblo Mágico , known for its ancestral traditions and distinctive adobe-and-stone architecture. It’s also famous for preserving remnants of the Zapotec culture. We’ll have time to walk around the Church of San Pablo, built in the 16th century atop an ancient ceremonial platform, and stroll through its rustic, charming streets.
Departure from San Pablo Villa de Mitla. We’ll continue southeast, crossing the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, a key region in Mexico’s geography and culture. Lunch will be included en route.
Tuxtla Gutiérrez. Arrival in the capital of Chiapas, a modern and dynamic city that blends urban life with natural beauty in its surroundings. Accommodation.
We’ll venture along one of the most scenic routes in southern Mexico, crossing the Oaxaca highlands, the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, and lush tropical landscapes that lead us to the heart of Chiapas.
Due to landslides caused by heavy rains, the main road to the Isthmus of Tehuantepec has sections closed to traffic. Consequently, alternative routes will be taken, which will extend the usual travel time.

Tuxtla - Departure.
We will explore the SUMDERO CANYON. Travelling by boat, we will travel for more than 1 hrs up this impressive canyon which is almost 1 km deep and 14 km long.
Sumidero Canyon.- Departure.
Next, we will walk through CHIAPA DEL CORZO , a white traditional and cultural colonial site. Time for a stroll and a coffee.
Chiapa del Corzo. Departure. We enter into the center of the Mexican Mayan culture. We discover 2 beautiful villages inhabited by the Tzotzil Indians.
In ZINACANTAN we can admire the dresses worn by the women and also their small loom workshop-shops.
Zicacantan.- Departure.
SAN JUAN CHAMULA we will be surprised by their church that mixes Christianity with pre-Columbian traditions. Time for lunch.
San Juan Chamula.- Departure.
We continue to SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS . Free afternoon in this beautiful colonial city founded in 1528.
