Old Town Hallstatt gets extremely crowded by midday with day trippers arriving from Salzburg, we could barely get a clear photo at the main viewpoint everyone comes for. Rain also washed out our second planned Skywalk visit. Salt mines tour indoors saved the trip for us though.
