Bali, Nusa Penida and Gili Trawangan Escape

Arrive at Bali Airport, where a local representative meets you for your transfer to Ubud, the cultural centre of Bali. Check in to your hotel and take the rest of the evening to unwind, walk through the neighbourhood, or sample Balinese food and visit local cafés at your own pace. Settle into the island rhythm and spend the night in Ubud.

Start with breakfast at your hotel before heading out for a 1-hour ATV ride across the countryside, navigating jungle paths, rice paddies, and shallow river crossings. Continue to Alas Harum to ride the Bali Swing over the canopy and explore the rice terraces, photo nests, and mini zoo attractions. Afterwards, visit Cretya Ubud day club to unwind by the pools overlooking the jungle. In the evening, explore Ubud town and its cafés before your overnight stay.

Eat breakfast, then travel into Northern Bali towards volcanic lakes and cooler mountain hillsides. Stop at Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, the renowned water temple set along Lake Beratan. Travel onward to Leke Leke Waterfall for a scenic walk through lush greenery to reach the secluded cascade. Complete your northern loop with a visit to a local strawberry farm to experience the mountain agriculture before returning to Ubud for the night.

Enjoy breakfast, then board a shared speedboat across to Nusa Penida for a coastal island tour. Visit Kelingking Beach to view the dramatic cliff formation jutting into the sea. Move on to Broken Beach, a natural limestone arch enclosing a circular bay, and admire the tide pools of Angel's Billabong. Stop at Crystal Bay for an opportunity to swim or snorkel in calm waters. An Indian lunch is included. Later, return to Bali for your overnight stay.

Depart early in the morning to witness sunrise over the white sands and limestone sea cliffs at Diamond Beach. Have breakfast before heading to the harbour for a shared speedboat crossing to the Gili Islands. Arrive at Gili Trawangan, where motorized vehicles are prohibited. Use traditional Cidomo horse carts or walk on foot to reach your hotel, check in, and spend the afternoon settling into the easygoing island surroundings. Stay overnight on Gili Trawangan.

After breakfast, head out for a guided snorkeling excursion across three prime marine locations around the Gili Islands. Stop at the submerged Underwater Statue conservation site, snorkel near Turtle Point to look for green sea turtles, and explore the marine life at Coral Garden. Snorkeling gear, guide assistance, water, and Cidomo hotel transfers are provided. Use the rest of the day to relax on the beach, stroll through town, or visit cafés. Sleep overnight on Gili Trawangan.

Eat breakfast and board the morning speedboat from Gili Trawangan back to Bali mainland. Travel toward Kuta to spend some time exploring shops and streets. Later in the afternoon, continue south to the high cliffs of Uluwatu. Visit the clifftop Uluwatu Temple overlooking the sea. At dusk, watch the traditional Balinese Kecak Fire Dance performed against the ocean sunset. Return to your hotel in Bali for your final overnight stay.

Have your final breakfast at the hotel in Bali. Spend your remaining morning packing your luggage or picking up last-minute souvenirs. Take your scheduled transfer to Bali Airport for your flight onward, concluding the eight-day journey.
