Follow the coast to the Madu River area, then visit Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project on Galle Road in Kosgoda before returning to Bentota Beach and the same hotel. This named conservation project is our explicit choice for the hatchery visit. Arrange visiting access with the project in advance; animal handling or turtle release is not promised. River boating remains optional, and any banana-boat ride or parasailing needs a separate operator, eligibility check and price. The day includes no confirmed activity ticket.

Leave Bentota early for a full return day trip to Colombo. Plan the National Museum and nearby Viharamahadevi Park and Independence Memorial Hall first, followed by the Fort district, exterior views of the Twin World Trade Center Towers, Galle Face Green and time for shopping.
