Begin the morning at Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can watch, bathe, and feed elephants. Head to Bylakuppe to visit the Golden Temple at Namdroling Monastery, admiring its large golden Buddha statues and artwork. Walk across the hanging bridge into the bamboo groves of Nisargadhama on the Kaveri River. In the afternoon, visit Abbey Falls set amid coffee bushes, followed by Omkareshwara Temple and the 17th-century Madikeri Fort housing the Government Museum. Conclude at Gaddige, also known as the Raja's Tomb, and watch the sunset from Raja's Seat.
