Colombo, Kandy, Yala, Mirissa and Bentota

Set out on a guided city tour through Colombo's historic streets. See modern architecture alongside colonial-era structures, explore cultural landmarks, and browse through bustling local markets. Continue to the 350-metre Colombo Lotus Tower to take in panoramic views of the city. Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Depart Colombo for a scenic drive into the hills toward Kandy. En route, pass by the rock fortress of Sigiriya. Stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to see rescued elephants bathing in the river and playing with caretakers. Continue to Kandy to tour the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, followed by an evening Kandyan Cultural Dance Show featuring traditional drumming and fire acts. Sleep in Kandy.

Have breakfast before departing toward Ella to visit the cascading Ravana Waterfall. Continue your journey south to Yala National Park. During the late afternoon, embark on an open jeep safari through the reserve to spot leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and endemic birds. Afterwards, check into your accommodation in Yala for dinner and an overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before leaving Yala behind. Take a drive along Sri Lanka's southern coastline toward the sandy bays of Mirissa. Upon arrival, check into your beachside accommodation and spend the afternoon swimming in the ocean or resting on the shore. Conclude the day with a candlelight dinner by the sea. Head out early in the morning to Mirissa Harbour to board a boat for whale watching, keeping an eye out for blue whales and dolphins. Later, take a scenic drive along the coast to the beach town of Unawatuna near Galle. Enjoy the afternoon lounging on the beach or by the pool before returning to Mirissa to stay overnight at Mandara Resort.

Eat breakfast and journey north along the southern coast to Bentota. Visit a local turtle conservation hatchery to observe sea turtle conservation work. Next, cruise along the Madu River on a boat safari through lush mangrove networks and small islands. In the afternoon, participate in local water sports such as jet skiing or banana boat rides before checking in at Ekho Surf in Bentota.

After breakfast at your hotel in Bentota, check out and meet your driver. Take the coastal road on a scenic drive back to Colombo. Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport in time for your flight home, concluding your tour.
