The journey

This 14-day Himalayan trek follows the classic trail through the Khumbu region of Nepal to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar. Beginning with a mountain flight from Kathmandu or Ramechhap to Lukla, the route winds through Sherpa settlements, pine forests, and across suspension bridges over the Dudh Kosi River. You will explore Namche Bazaar, visit Tengboche Monastery, and follow glacial valleys past Dingboche and Lobuche.

Designed with dedicated acclimatisation days in Namche Bazaar and Dingboche, the journey ascends along the Khumbu Glacier to Everest Base Camp at 17,598 feet. A dawn ascent of Kala Patthar at 18,200 feet delivers views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse before you trace the trail back down to Lukla for your flight to Kathmandu.
