Wonderful for the children, but three nights vanished fast, we'd have loved a fourth to slow down.
The pace was gentle with plenty of café stops, which our kids valued as much as we did. Oodi's top floor was the runaway favourite, we practically had to bribe them to leave.
Nice relaxed pace for a family trip, plenty of cafe breaks built in which our kids appreciated as much as we did. Port area was pleasant though a bit chilly for June, we underestimated how much we would need jackets even in summer.
The library and Senate Square were wonderful, but Oodi's play floor was heaving on the weekend and our youngest got overwhelmed in the crush. Go on a weekday if you can.
Senate Square with the Cathedral towering above genuinely made our kids go quiet for a moment, which almost never happens. Oodi Library the next day was the complete opposite, loud, colourful, and full of things for children to touch and try, an easy family favourite. Wandering the port area in the evening rounded off a lovely, unhurried few days.
