Gangtok, Pelling and Namchi Tour

Meet your representative at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Board your vehicle for the scenic drive up to Gangtok. Check in at your hotel, unwind, and spend the evening at your own pace browsing the shops and cafes in the local market. Dinner is at your own expense, and you spend the night in Gangtok.

After breakfast at your hotel, set off for a full day of sightseeing in and around Gangtok. Visit the prominent Do-Drul Chorten stupa and examine Buddhist manuscripts at the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology. Browse traditional handicrafts at the Handicraft Centre, then visit Bakthang Falls and the local Flower Show. Continue to Tashi View Point and Ganesh Tok for views of the city and Himalayan peaks, finishing at Lhasa Waterfall before returning to your hotel in Gangtok.

Have breakfast and embark on an excursion toward the Indo-China border. Head up to Tsomgo Lake at an altitude of 12,000 feet, where you can walk along the glacial lake shores, play in the snow, or take an optional yak ride. Continue up to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, surrounded by high mountain scenery. If permits allow and requested in advance, an optional detour to Nathula Pass is available at extra cost. Return to Gangtok for the night.

Eat breakfast, check out of your hotel, and start the journey to Pelling in West Sikkim. The route climbs through mountain roads to an elevation of 6,800 feet, offering views across forested valleys and the Kanchenjunga range. Arrive in Pelling, check in to your accommodation, and spend the remainder of the day relaxing against the backdrop of Mount Khangchendzonga and neighbouring peaks. Overnight in Pelling.

Following breakfast, spend the full day discovering the natural and historical sights of Pelling. Start at the cascading Khangchendzonga Waterfalls and the tranquil Rimbi Waterfalls. Visit the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, tucked inside thick forests, and stroll through Sewaro Rock Garden. Later, explore the stone remnants of the Rabdentse Ruins, the ancient royal seat, and visit Pemayangtse Monastery. Return to your hotel in Pelling for the night.

Have an early breakfast, check out from Pelling, and drive to Namchi at an elevation of 1,315 metres. Known as the administrative centre of South Sikkim, Namchi offers cooler climes and mountain scenery. In the evening, explore the local main market or visit the expansive Siddheshwar Dham (Chaar Dham) complex featuring replicas of sacred shrines and a massive Shiva statue. Check in and stay overnight in Namchi.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel followed by free time at leisure. Check out and board your vehicle for the downhill transfer to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, bringing your Sikkim holiday to a close.
