Just five nights and it never once felt rushed, which surprised us both. Godafoss up north, then the whole South Coast parade down to Vik. A proper adventure honeymoon feeling even though we are years married.
Landscapes on this route are genuinely jaw dropping, no exaggeration. Godafoss and Skogafoss alone are worth the flight. That said, food anywhere near Vik was shockingly expensive for what you get. A simple soup and bread cost far more than we expected for such tiny portions.
The waterfalls on this route are stunning and I would send anyone here. But the Seljalandsfoss walk-behind path was slick with mud that day and my wife slipped twice, so mind your footing and wear proper boots rather than the trainers we turned up in.
