Coastal charm of Vizag is honestly underrated. Kailasagiri hill park at sunset is an absolute must for any couple visiting this route.
This was our anniversary trip and we genuinely could not have picked better. Ramoji's grandeur in the morning and the calm of Ramakrishna Beach by evening gave such a nice balance to the days. The local cooking class was a fun little addition we did not expect to enjoy as much as we did. Five nights felt just right, not rushed at all.
Submarine museum queue took over an hour standing in the sun, which was rough. The beach walk the next morning did make up for it somewhat though.
Vizag side of this package genuinely surprised us more than Ramoji did. We got to Ramakrishna Beach just before sunrise and had almost the whole stretch to ourselves. The Submarine Museum afterward was such a novel, slightly quirky thing to do as a couple, neither of us had been inside a real submarine before. Kailasagiri in the evening rounded off the day beautifully with the coastline glowing gold.
Kailasagiri ropeway views of the coastline were stunning. Only complaint is the cooking class towards the end felt rushed and a bit hurried.
The drive between Ramoji and the Vizag coast dragged on far longer than we'd imagined, and by the end of it we both wished a short flight had been built into the package. Everything at the beach and Kailasagiri afterwards was lovely, so it did even out.
