Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer Circuit

Arrive in Jaipur by 9:00 AM and check into your hotel to meet your trip captain for an introductory briefing. Once freshened up, head out to explore the Pink City. Begin at the hilltop Amer Fort, constructed from red sandstone and marble with broad views across Maota Lake. Proceed to Hawa Mahal to admire the facade of royal honeycomb windows. Spend your evening exploring the lively local bazaars filled with traditional textiles, handicrafts, and juttis. Return to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay in Jaipur.

Have an early morning breakfast before beginning the 390-kilometre journey south to Udaipur. Arrive in the City of Lakes and complete your hotel check-in formalities. If arrival time permits, visit the historic Lake Pichola during the evening to see its historic ghats, palaces, and the illuminated City Palace along the water's edge. Return to your hotel later in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay in Udaipur.

Eat breakfast and set off on a full day of sightseeing across Udaipur. If Lake Pichola was missed on the previous evening, spend time exploring its waterfront today. Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay in Udaipur.

Following breakfast, check out of your hotel and start the 250-kilometre drive towards Jodhpur. Stop on the way at Haldighati to tour the Maharana Pratap Museum, dedicated to the legendary 1576 battle. Continue across the Aravalli hills to visit Kumbhalgarh Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring perimeter ramparts that form the world's second-longest continuous wall. After touring the citadel, resume the drive to Jodhpur. Reach the Blue City in the evening, have dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay.

Have breakfast and spend the day exploring Jodhpur's historic landmarks. Tour Mehrangarh Fort, towering above the blue houses below, and inspect its galleries of palanquins, weaponry, and royal art. Proceed to Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph set beside peaceful grounds. Visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace, an enormous sandstone residence that remains partially inhabited by the royal family. In the evening, head to the bustling Clock Tower market at Ghanta Ghar for a guided local food tour tasting mirchi vada, mawa kachori, samosas, and lassi before dinner and your overnight stay.

Eat an early breakfast, check out of your hotel, and drive 280 kilometres across the desert landscape to Jaisalmer. Upon reaching the Golden City, check into your Swiss tent campsite at the Sam Sand Dunes. Head out onto the dunes for a desert jeep safari and camel ride. In the evening, watch a cultural folk dance and music performance by Rajasthani artists under the desert sky. Gather for an authentic Rajasthani dinner and enjoy your overnight stay at the desert camp.

Breakfast at the desert campsite precedes a morning of sightseeing around Jaisalmer. Visit the deserted 13th-century village of Kuldhara and learn about its folklore. Move on to Jaisalmer Fort, an inhabited golden sandstone citadel filled with active temples, shops, and houses. Tour Patwon Ki Haveli, a group of five intricately carved historic mansions. Conclude your sightseeing at Gadisar Lake as the sun sets over the water. Later in the evening, board your vehicle for an overnight journey to Jaipur via Jodhpur.

Arrive in Jaipur in the early morning where the trip officially ends. Depart for your onward train or flight, or take advantage of optional onward transfer arrangements to Delhi.
