Kathmandu, Nagarkot and Pokhara Discovery

Meet your representative on arrival at Kathmandu Airport and begin the 1.5-hour drive to Nagarkot. This hillside town is widely known for sweeping views of the Himalayas at sunset and sunrise. Settle into your hotel and enjoy the mountain air. Spend your evening relaxing at your own pace or taking a walk around the local surroundings while watching the sunset over the distant peaks. Dinner is served at your hotel, where you will spend the night.

Have breakfast at your hotel before setting out on the road towards Pokhara. En route, make a stop at the revered Manakamana Temple, ascending the mountain ridge by cable car. Take time to explore the temple grounds where visitors traditionally make wishes. Afterward, continue the overland journey to Pokhara, famed for its scenic lake and mountain scenery. Upon arrival, check in with a welcome drink, unpack, and unwind. Dinner is included at your hotel.

Start before dawn with a drive up to Sarangkot to view the morning sunlight over Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Return to your hotel for breakfast, then proceed for a full day of Pokhara sightseeing. Visit Bindabasini Temple, the city's oldest shrine dedicated to Maa Bhagwati. Continue to Devi's Fall, where cascading waters vanish underground, and walk down the spiralling staircase into Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave opposite. Peer into the Seti River Gorge before taking a boat ride on Phewa Lake to reach the island shrine of Taal Barahi Temple at your own expense. Dinner and overnight stay are in Pokhara.

Enjoy breakfast before boarding your vehicle for the drive back to Kathmandu. On reaching the capital, complete your check-in formalities at the hotel and take time to rest. The remainder of the day is free for leisure. You can take an evening walk through the lively lanes of Thamel to browse handicraft shops, try regional street food, or observe the city's daily pace. Return to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, start your city tour at the revered Pashupatinath Temple, situated along the sacred Bagmati River. Proceed to the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the world's largest spherical stupas, to walk the circular mandala and spin prayer wheels. Next, travel up to the hilltop Swayambhunath Stupa, known for its resident monkeys and city vistas. Continue to Jal Narayan Temple to view the sleeping stone statue of Lord Vishnu, and conclude your sightseeing at Kathmandu Durbar Square amidst ancient royal courtyards and palaces. Return to your hotel for dinner and rest.

Eat breakfast at the hotel, check out, and begin your journey towards the airport. En route, make a stop at the historic Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Walk past medieval architecture, multi-tiered temples, open public squares, and ornate wood carvings. After completing your visit in Bhaktapur, transfer directly to Kathmandu Airport for your scheduled onward flight, bringing your holiday to a close.
