Kedarnath and Badrinath Do Dham Yatra from Delhi

Assemble at your designated pickup point in Delhi by evening and set out on an overnight drive towards Guptkashi in the Mandakini river valley. The route ascends through Haridwar, Devprayag where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet, Srinagar, and Rudraprayag. As the city is left behind, watch the scenery shift into Himalayan foothills and flowing mountain rivers while travelling overnight.

Reach Guptkashi by the afternoon following the long overnight road trip. Check into your hotel and take time to freshen up, rest, and acclimatise before undertaking the high-altitude trek to Kedarnath. Later in the evening, you may take a short stroll around the town or explore local markets. You also have the option to visit Guptkashi's ancient Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple before your overnight stay.

Depart early on a 30 km drive to Gaurikund, the starting point for the trek. From here, commence the 16 km climb to Kedarnath, heading past waterfalls, pine forests, and mountain vistas. You may choose to hike on foot, or hire a pony, palki, or helicopter service at an extra charge. Check into your hotel or guesthouse upon arrival late in the afternoon or evening, then attend the evening aarti at Kedarnath Temple.

Wake early for morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple if not completed the previous evening. After breakfast, start your descent down to Gaurikund. Rejoin your vehicle and drive back to Guptkashi. Spend the afternoon and evening resting and recovering from the trek at your hotel, reflecting on your time at the shrine before your overnight stay.

Depart Guptkashi following breakfast and embark on the 190 km drive to Badrinath, located at an altitude of 10,170 feet. The mountain road passes through Joshimath and runs alongside the Alaknanda river valley, offering vistas of alpine hamlets and high peaks. Arrive in Badrinath, check into your hotel, and spend the evening resting after the day's journey.

Start early with a visit and darshan at the Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Afterwards, travel to Mana, known as India's last village near the border with Tibet. In Mana, visit the natural rock bridge Bhim Pul over the Saraswati River, the cave shrine of Vyas Gufa, and the spot where the Saraswati River emerges. Following lunch, drive downhill past scenic confluences to Rishikesh and check into your hotel.

After breakfast, spend time in Rishikesh exploring key landmarks. Walk across the suspension bridges Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula for views across the Ganga, and visit Triveni Ghat to attend or watch the morning Ganga aarti. After finishing sightseeing, start the 240 km drive back to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi by evening, where your tour ends.
