Kilim Geoforest Park's mangrove tour was a genuine hit with our seven year old, she spotted an eagle before the guide even pointed toward it. The boat weaving through the mangroves felt like something out of a nature documentary. Langkawi at the end of the trip gave everyone the beach downtime they had been waiting for. Nine nights across Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Langkawi kept the whole family engaged without anyone getting cranky.
Three destinations in nine nights kept everyone entertained, Penang's street food alone was worth the stop for us. Wish we had built in a bit more time in Langkawi at the end.
