Land at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, meet your transfer, and drive to your seaside resort at Le Méridien Ile Maurice. Check in and take time to unwind after your flight. The remainder of your day is entirely at your own pace. You can enjoy a cold drink at the lounge, take a gentle walk along the beach while watching the ocean, or rest comfortably in your room. Dinner is included at the hotel, where you will spend the night.

Begin the day with breakfast before setting off on a guided exploration of northern Mauritius. Visit L'Aventure du Sucre, a 19th-century sugar factory turned museum, and enjoy a rum tasting. Head up to Fort Adelaide for views over Port Louis harbour, then drive past China Town, the Mosque, the Catholic Church, the High Court, and French colonial landmarks. Stop at Port Louis Bazaar to sample hot dhol puri, stroll Caudan Waterfront, and finish with juice and rum tasting at Château de Labourdonnais. Return to the resort for dinner.

After breakfast overlooking the water, enjoy a completely open day without scheduled tours. You can book an optional treatment at the resort spa, recline beside the infinity pool, or stroll along the sand. For active travellers, the resort provides water sports facilities on site, or you can opt for diving at an additional charge. Settle into the calm rhythm of the coast, take in the sunset, and enjoy dinner at the resort, where you will spend the night.

Have breakfast and travel south to Grand Bassin, an inland crater lake revered in Hindu tradition, guarded by a 108-foot Lord Shiva statue. Drive past Plaine Champagne and the Bassin Blanc crater to the Valley of Colours, known for its 23 shades of volcanic earth. Here you may try optional ziplines, a Nepalese bridge, or jeep rides. Continue to Floreal for souvenir shopping and tour the Model Ship Factory before taking in panoramic island views from Trou aux Cerfs crater. Return via Curepipe for dinner at the resort.

After breakfast, drive to the east coast and stop at Belle Mare Plage, where optional parasailing, undersea walking, and tube rides are available. Board a shuttle speedboat across turquoise lagoons to Île aux Cerfs. Spend your time walking across 87 hectares of white-sand shore, swimming, snorkeling, or discovering the island waterfall. You can enjoy an optional beachside meal or simply rest in the shade before returning by speedboat to the mainland. Head back to Le Méridien for dinner and overnight rest.

Enjoy breakfast at the resort on your second unstructured day. You can spend the morning by the swimming pool, book a spa session, or walk along the shoreline. If you prefer to head out, visit Grand Baie for local shopping and lunch, book an optional dolphin-watching cruise off the west coast, or try quad biking through inland sugarcane fields. Return to Le Méridien Ile Maurice in the evening to pack your bags, enjoy dinner, and spend your final night on the island.
