Nainital, Corbett, Rishikesh and Mussoorie

Meet your driver at Delhi airport or railway station and take the scenic road journey up into the Kumaon hills to Nainital. Check in to your hotel for two nights. Later, enjoy a boat ride on Naini Lake, with boat hire at your own cost, and spend the evening browsing the lively local market stalls. Have dinner at your hotel and settle in for the night.

After breakfast, set out to explore Nainital. Head up to Snow View Point for sweeping views of the Himalayan peaks, with the cable car available at extra cost. Visit the sacred Naina Devi Temple on the northern lakefront, wander through the Tibetan Market for woollens and souvenirs, and stroll along Mall Road beside Naini Lake. Boating, horse riding and nature walks are optional at your own cost. Return to your hotel for dinner and your second night.

Have breakfast and check out from Nainital. Drive down towards the Corbett-area, using Ramnagar as an area reference, stopping en route to visit the Jim Corbett Museum at Kaladhungi and the tranquil Corbett Falls nestled in dense teak forest. Arrive at your resort in the Corbett area and check in for one night. Spend a peaceful evening at leisure surrounded by nature, followed by dinner at the resort.

Enjoy an early breakfast before setting off on a morning jeep safari into Corbett National Park to spot native wildlife. Afterward, begin the four-hour drive to the holy town of Rishikesh on the banks of the Ganges. Check in to your hotel or campsite for a two-night stay. Enjoy dinner at your accommodation and rest for the night.

Following breakfast, explore Rishikesh starting with the historic Beatles Ashram and the vibrant Bridge-area near Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula. Enjoy lunch, then head out onto the Ganges for an exhilarating white water rafting run. Towards sunset, attend the moving Ganga Aarti ceremony at the river ghats. Return to your lodging for dinner, a weather-dependent bonfire, and your second overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out of Rishikesh and take the three-hour drive winding up to Mussoorie in the Garhwal hills. Check in to your hotel for two nights. In the late afternoon, take an easy self-guided walk along the lively Mall Road, browsing hillside shops and local cafés. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Begin your day with breakfast, then set off to explore Mussoorie. Visit cascading Kempty Falls, take in panoramic mountain vistas from Lal Tibba, and head up to Gun Hill, where the ropeway is available at your own cost. Clear Himalayan views depend on the weather. Spend free time browsing the local bazaar before returning to your hotel for dinner and your final night.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and begin the return road journey to Delhi. Your driver drops you off at your chosen railway station or airport, bringing your eight-day holiday across Nainital, the Corbett area, Rishikesh and Mussoorie to a close.
