The journey

Climb up to 15,010 feet on the Pangarchulla Peak trek, starting and ending with drives along the Alaknanda corridor from Rishikesh. From the starting trailhead near Tugasi, the route climbs through mixed forests of oak, blue pine, and bhojpatra towards high-altitude camps at Guling and Khullara, tracing sections of the historic Lord Curzon trail.

The summit push starts around midnight, climbing along high ridges to gain panoramic views of prominent Garhwal summits including Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi, and Nilkantha at sunrise.
