Drive from Bodhgaya to the ancient Magadhan capital of Rajgir. Visit the medicinal Rajgir Hot Springs, ascend Griddhakuta Peak where Buddha preached sermons, and stroll through Venuvan, the bamboo grove monastery gifted by King Bimbisara. View the ancient remains of Bimbisar Jail where King Bimbisara was imprisoned. Journey next to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Nalanda for a guided exploration through the ruins of its ancient university halls, monasteries, and temples. Return to Rajgir to walk along the suspended Glass Sky Bridge for panoramic views of the surrounding hills, and spend the night in Rajgir.
