We travelled as a family of five including my parents and the island adventures kept everyone busy in different ways, from parasailing for the teenagers to a slow shell hunt for the grandparents. White Beach sunset each evening was non negotiable family time, phones down, just watching the sky change colour together. Food options near the resort were plentiful though a bit pricier than we expected for simple grilled fish. Overall a lovely, low stress week for a multi generation trip.

Kids still talk about the parasailing over Boracay's waters, easily the highlight of our summer holiday.

Beach and sunsets were everything we hoped for but our hotel room had a musty smell that housekeeping never quite fixed despite two requests. Would still recommend Boracay itself, just push for a room inspection before you settle in.

Great multi-generation week, though the airport transfer at the start felt disorganised and we waited a fair while for the boat.

Boracay delivers on the beach promise completely, water is as blue as the photos show. Only thing to plan around is that peak season afternoons get quite crowded near the main station area.
