Ferry timings between the islands were a bit tight for us, left us rushing on what should've been a relaxed morning. Everything else about the pace was fine.
Our second half in Manila got rained out almost entirely and the hotel room there felt tired next to Cebu's. We ended up indoors far more than we'd planned, which stung given only five nights. In a wetter month we'd swap the order of the cities.
