Puri, Konark and Bhubaneswar Heritage Journey

Arrive in Puri, meet your private transfer, and check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, set out on a sightseeing tour of local holy sites. Begin at the prominent Jagannath Temple, followed by visits to the nearby Maushimaa Temple and Sunargaurang Temple. Afterwards, travel to the heritage crafts village of Raghurajpur. Walk through the lanes to see artisans at work producing Pattachitra cloth paintings, palm-leaf engravings, and papier-mâché masks before returning to your hotel in Puri for the night.

Start early to catch the morning sunrise across the Bay of Bengal at Puri Sea Beach. Spend time walking along the coast, taking in the lively beach atmosphere, or wading in the surf. Later in the day, drive to Konark for an excursion to the 13th-century Sun Temple, also known as the Black Pagoda. The cruise docks at Rajhans Island, where you can walk along the quiet sandy beaches and enjoy the coastal scenery. Return to the mainland by boat and drive back to Puri for your overnight stay.

Have breakfast and check out from your hotel in Puri to begin your drive towards Bhubaneswar. Stop first in the artisan town of Pipili to browse streets filled with vibrant appliqué lanterns, umbrellas, and wall hangings. Proceed to Dhauli hill, visiting the Shanti Stupa peace pagoda and examining the ancient rock edicts of Emperor Ashoka. In the evening, explore Bhubaneswar's prominent religious landmarks with visits to the towering Lingaraj Temple, the sculpted Rajarani Temple, and the intricate Mukteshwar Temple.
