Seychelles with Copolia Trail and Moyenne Island

Arrive at Seychelles International Airport on the main island of Mahe. Transfer to your hotel and settle into your room. The rest of the day is free to rest, use the hotel pool, or take an initial walk down to the nearby beach. No meals are included today. You will spend the night at your hotel on Mahe.

Begin the day with breakfast before setting out to explore Mahe. Stop first at the Seychelles National Botanical Gardens on the outskirts of Victoria to see towering palms, spice and fruit trees, and the resident Aldabra giant tortoises. Continue into central Victoria to view the historic Clock Tower, known locally as Lorloz. The remainder of your afternoon is free to browse local craft shops or walk around town at your own pace. Return to your hotel in Mahe for the night.

Have breakfast and depart on a half-day guided hike on the Copolia Trail accompanied by a naturalist. Walk through mountain forests while learning about endemic flora and fauna, including tiny frogs, pitcher plants, and rare jellyfish plants. At the summit, take in sweeping panoramic views over Saint Anne Marine National Park and nearby islands. Hike back down with an optional revisit to the Botanical Gardens if you wish to explore more. Overnight at your hotel on Mahe.

Eat breakfast at the hotel, then head out on the water for a morning excursion to Moyenne Island in Saint Anne Marine National Park. Snorkel through clear marine waters among colourful reef fish, and walk along the island's nature trail where giant tortoises roam unconfined. Travel back to Mahe in the afternoon, with time left free to relax or explore another coastal beach. Overnight at your hotel on Mahe.

After breakfast, board a one-hour ferry transfer across the open water from Mahe to Praslin. Check in at your Praslin hotel and take the afternoon at your own leisure to enjoy the quiet island pace. Later in the day, head down to Cote d'Or Beach to walk along the shoreline and watch the sunset. Overnight at your hotel on Praslin.

Start early after breakfast for an island safari. Boat first to Cousin Island, an important nature reserve and breeding habitat for seabirds, nesting turtles, and older resident tortoises. Sail next to Curieuse Island, known for its Coco de Mer forest and freely roaming giant tortoises. Have a barbecue lunch on Curieuse and explore its granite formations before cruising to St. Pierre Island for snorkelling in clear reef waters. Return to Praslin for the night.

Take breakfast and board a 15-minute boat ride over to La Digue. Check in to your accommodation and get on bicycles to explore the island. Ride to L'Union Estate to visit a historic colonial house, traditional Creole residences, giant tortoises, and a copra factory. Continue cycling to Anse Source d'Argent to swim in calm waters by dramatic granite rocks. After lunch, pedal across local villages to reach Grand Anse beach. Overnight stay on La Digue.

Enjoy breakfast before spending the day on La Digue at your own pace. You can choose to visit the Veuve Reserve to look for the rare, endangered black paradise-flycatcher in its forest habitat. Spend the rest of the day finding quiet beaches, visiting local craft workshops, or riding bicycles around the island. Stay overnight at your hotel on La Digue.

Have your final breakfast in Seychelles. Depending on your flight time, you can do some souvenir shopping at Victoria Market on Mahe, stop at a local artist studio, or visit Eden Island for dining overlooking the marina. Transfer to Seychelles International Airport for your return flight.
