South Korea Adventure with Seoul and Jeju

Land at Incheon International Airport and meet your transfer into Seoul. Check in to your hotel and take the rest of the evening at your own pace to rest after your flight. Overnight in Seoul.

Begin the day with breakfast before setting out to discover Korea's royal heritage. Visit Changdeokgung Palace to walk past historic halls and the Secret Garden. Continue to Jongmyo Shrine, the oldest royal Confucian shrine in Korea. Next, tour the National Museum of Korea to view its collection of cultural artefacts. Finish the afternoon at Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul's largest Joseon palace, where you can watch the guard-changing ceremony. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Seoul.

Have breakfast and choose between two distinct day excursions. You can hike the granite trails of Bukhansan National Park, or journey to the Korean Demilitarized Zone to view Dora Observatory and walk through the Third Infiltration Tunnel. On your return journey, visit Hyundai Motor Studio to see modern automotive design and mobility concepts. In the evening, explore the street food and nightlife of the Shinchon university district. Depending on your Day 4 plans, stay in Seoul or transfer 42 kilometres to Yongin City. Overnight in Seoul.

Start with breakfast and head out for a day of activities. Visit Everland Theme Park in Yongin City to try safari rides and the steep T-Express wooden coaster. Alternatively, choose optional adventures around the region: bungee jumping at Gapyeong Top Land, ziplining to Nami Island, rail-biking at Gangchon Rail Park, winter skiing at Vivaldi Park or Yongpyong Resort, paragliding in Yangpyeong, or hiking Bukhansan if missed earlier. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Seoul.

Eat breakfast in Seoul before making your way to Jeju Island by either a 2 to 3 hour flight or a 5 to 8 hour ferry journey. On arrival in Jeju City, check in to your accommodation. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your own leisure. You can wander through local markets, taste regional tangerine tea, or spend quiet time along the coastline. Overnight in Jeju.

After breakfast, head out to explore Jeju's volcanic scenery. Hike trails in Hallasan National Park, climbing towards the 1,947-metre summit of South Korea's highest mountain and dormant volcano. Next, travel to Seongeup Folk Village to observe preserved traditional island architecture, including lava rock walls, thatched houses, and historic tongsi restrooms. In the evening, transfer towards Seongsan on the eastern side of the island. Overnight in Jeju near Seongsan.

Rise early to ascend Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, also known as Sunrise Peak, a UNESCO-listed hydrovolcanic tuff cone offering sweeping views of the morning sun. Take time for an optional ridge walk or horse riding in the area. Have breakfast, then transfer to Jeju International Airport according to your departure flight schedule to complete your trip.
