Gulmarg Gondola, Drung Waterfall and Sonmarg Feast

Meet your group at Srinagar Airport at 10:30 AM for a transfer into the city. Gather at the common meeting point in the early afternoon for an introduction and trip briefing by your Trip Captain. Check in to your traditional houseboat from 1:00 PM onwards. In the afternoon, head out on a sightseeing tour of the Mughal Gardens, appreciating the stepped lawns, fountains, and Dal Lake views. Board a Shikara for a one-hour ride along Dal Lake before returning to the houseboat for dinner and your overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast before checking out of your Srinagar houseboat. Take a 50 km drive lasting around two hours to the hill station of Gulmarg. Head straight to the Gulmarg Gondola to ascend to Kongdoori Peak on the Phase 1 cable car. If you wish, spend time on optional snow adventures including skiing, snowmobiling, or sledging at your own expense. In the evening, check into your Gulmarg hotel for dinner and rest.

Have breakfast and check out from Gulmarg. Board your vehicle for a 142 km, four-hour journey towards Pahalgam. Travel along winding mountain routes passing the saffron fields of Pampore and historic ruins in Awantipura. Take an included local cab to visit Drung Waterfall, where winter cold often turns the cascade into frozen ice formations. You may opt for an ATV ride here at extra cost. Continue to Pahalgam, check into your hotel, and spend the remainder of your evening relaxing before dinner.

Eat an early breakfast and check out from your hotel in Pahalgam. Set off in a local cab to explore the nearby valleys, weather permitting. Visit Aru Valley, framed by mountain meadows, and head to Betaab Valley, situated between the Pir Panjal and Zanskar ranges. Continue to Chandanwadi, known as the base for the Amarnath Yatra and a venue for snow sports like skiing and snowboarding. Later, begin the 90 km, two-hour road trip back to Srinagar. Check in to your Srinagar hotel and enjoy dinner.

Start your day with a traditional Kashmiri breakfast featuring Harisa, Noon Chai, Girda and Kulcha, Halwa Paratha, and Chana Chat. Drive out on a day trip to Sonmarg Valley to take in its wide snow-covered meadows and alpine rivers. If road conditions prevent reaching Sonmarg, the excursion visits Yousmarg or Doodhpathri instead. Return to Srinagar by evening for a local Kashmiri dinner serving Nadur Yakhni, Walnut Chutney, and Hokk Syun, followed by an overnight stay at your hotel.
