Stavanger, Bergen, Tromso and Oslo

Land at Stavanger Airport, where you meet your local representative or driver in the arrivals hall and transfer to your hotel. After check-in from 2:00 PM, enjoy free time to unwind or explore the area. You can take an optional walk through Gamle Stavanger, admiring the white wooden houses along cobbled streets, or wander down to Stavanger Harbour to view the boats and waterfront cafes. You can also walk uphill to the historic Valbergtarnet watchtower for panoramic views of the town. For dinner, consider seafood at Fisketorget or regional dining at Re-naa before returning to your hotel.

Begin the day with breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a scenic fjord cruise. Sail past sheer cliffs, plunging waterfalls, and small islands dotted with traditional wooden houses. After the boat docks back at the port, a transfer returns you to your hotel. Spend the afternoon resting or exploring the city. You may choose an optional visit to Stavanger Cathedral or the Norwegian Petroleum Museum. In the evening, take a quiet walk through Old Stavanger or along the waterfront promenade, followed by dinner at Fisketorget or Tango Restaurant before your overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from your Stavanger hotel and meet your driver to board the scenic intercity bus to Bergen. The journey takes around five to six hours, winding past mountains, forests, and fjords, with scenic stops along the way for photographs and refreshments if available. Arrive in Bergen and transfer to your hotel. Once checked in, take free time to stroll through UNESCO-listed Bryggen Wharf, ride the Floibanen funicular up Mt. Floyen for city panoramas, or relax along the waterfront. In the evening, dine at Fisketorget or Enhjorningen before your overnight stay.

Have an early breakfast before departing Bergen on the Bergen Railway toward Voss or Myrdal. Board a coach to Gudvangen, where your two-hour cruise through the UNESCO-listed Naeroyfjord begins. Sail beneath high cliffs and past cascading waterfalls to reach the village of Flam. Enjoy free time in Flam to browse local craft shops, visit the Flam Railway Museum, or lunch by the water. Next, board the Flam Railway for a twenty-kilometre climb up to Myrdal, passing Kjosfossen waterfall and deep gorges. Connect back to the Bergen Railway and return to Bergen for the night.

Enjoy breakfast, check out, and transfer to Bergen Airport for your two-hour domestic flight to Tromso. Upon landing at Tromso Airport, transfer to your hotel. Spend your afternoon resting, walking down the Storgata shopping street, or taking in views of the harbor and the Arctic Cathedral. In the evening, between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, set out on a guided northern lights tour lasting four to six hours. Equipped with thermal gear, travel with your guide to find clear skies, gather by a campfire for hot drinks, snacks, and dinner, and watch for auroras before returning around midnight.

Eat breakfast at your hotel before heading to Tromso harbour between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Board your whale watching vessel for a four to six-hour cruise through Arctic fjords, looking for humpback whales, orcas, porpoises, and sea eagles with commentary from guides. Return to harbour in the early afternoon, with time to visit the Polaria Arctic Aquarium or browse local boutiques. Between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM, depart on your second guided northern lights excursion into new regions. Warm clothing, photography help, hot drinks, snacks, and dinner are included as you hunt for night displays.

After breakfast, check out and travel to Tromso Airport for a flight of around one hour forty-five minutes to Oslo. Transfer to your hotel, settle in, and begin an Oslo city tour. Visit the Royal Palace to stroll through its landscaped gardens, and if timings align, see the changing of the guard. Continue to Vigeland Sculpture Park to view over two hundred sculptures by Gustav Vigeland. Walk up the sloping marble roof of the waterfront Oslo Opera House, then explore the pedestrian boulevard of Karl Johans Gate. In the evening, sample local dining at Mathallen Oslo or Fjord Restaurant.

Begin your last morning with breakfast at your hotel in Oslo. Complete check-out, typically between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Transfer to Oslo Airport Gardermoen via pre-arranged private transfer, taxi, or the twenty-minute Flytoget airport express train from Oslo Central Station to board your flight home.
