Went in February and the weather was perfect, cool evenings and warm days. The Grand Palace tour guide was knowledgeable and the flower market visit was an unexpected favourite, so colourful and fragrant early in the morning.
Loved every bit of the temple hopping, Chinatown food walk was the standout.
As someone travelling alone for the first time in Southeast Asia, this package gave me the right mix of guided comfort and free time to wander. Chinatown alleys at night were an absolute sensory overload in the best way possible, and I still think about the noodles I had there. Wat Arun during golden hour is something photos genuinely cannot capture. Five nights felt just right, not rushed, not too long.
Bangkok itself is magical but our itinerary had a mandatory gem shop stop that ate almost two hours of the day. Grand Palace was crowded beyond belief by 11am, could barely get a clear photo of the spires. Food was excellent throughout though.
Wat Arun at golden hour with a fresh coconut, the best solo evening I have had in years.
Travelled solo to Bangkok for five nights and honestly it exceeded every expectation. The Grand Palace left me speechless, the spires catching the afternoon light just like the brochure promised. Wat Arun at sunset was my favourite evening of the whole trip, sitting by the Chao Phraya with a fresh coconut. Chinatown at night is not for the faint hearted but the street food alone made the whole trip worth it.
