Decent budget solo package overall but my Krabi hotel room felt tired, thin walls and an AC that rattled all night. The islands themselves, Coral Island especially, were the saving grace of the whole itinerary.
Went alone with zero expectations and ended up extending my Phuket stay by two days informally on my own dime. The Phi Phi Islands boat trip was chaotic with the crowd but the limestone cliffs made up for it instantly. Loved chatting with other solo travellers on the same route, made the whole thing feel less lonely. Budget tier delivered exactly what was promised, no hidden surprises.
Patong Beach nightlife isn't really my scene but the daytime snorkelling nearby was excellent.
Pattaya is a fine gentle start, but a tuk tuk driver kept nudging me toward some gem shop I never asked about. Once I hit Krabi's cliffs and Phuket's beaches the trip found its feet properly.
Decent budget package, but one transfer between towns dragged on far longer than promised with no real explanation.
