Ferrari World roller coaster gave us the adrenaline rush we didn't know we needed on a honeymoon. Grand Mosque visit right after was such a calm contrast, both extremes in one day.
Burj Khalifa at night is a view we still talk about months later, standing up there together felt surreal. Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Mosque the next day was equally awe inspiring in a completely different way.
Wonderful trip, though the Burj Khalifa queue dragged well past our booked slot despite the timed ticket.
Our desert safari camp added an unscheduled stop at a souvenir shop on the way back that felt more like a sales pitch than a photo break. Otherwise the sunset and dinner part of the evening was genuinely nice.
Spending four nights across Dubai and Abu Dhabi turned out to be the perfect honeymoon combination for us. Desert safari with the sunset over the dunes followed by that Bedouin style dinner is something we will never forget, dune bashing had my wife laughing and screaming at the same time. Burj Khalifa observation deck gave us the whole city in one frame.
Dhow Cruise dinner on Dubai Creek was lovely, food was decent and the skyline views made up for anything lacking. Would have liked a bit more free time in Dubai itself though.
