Eight nights in Dubai as newlyweds turned out to be the perfect choice, equal parts adventure and luxury for us. The desert evening with dinner under a canopy of stars felt like something out of a film, genuinely emotional for both of us. Watching the Dubai Fountain dance to music with my husband's arm around me is a memory I will keep for years. Marina architecture from the water at sunset was another quiet highlight we did not expect to love as much as we did.
Far from basic despite the standard tag, this package's Burj Al Arab views and marina boat tour exceeded expectations easily. Food near some of the tourist spots was quite overpriced though, better to eat a street or two away from the main strip.
