Nine nights was lovely once we settled, but our rooms weren't ready on arrival and we waited in the lobby ages with jet-lagged kids and my elderly parents. Not the welcome you want after a long flight, though it did settle down after that.
Transfer from the desert camp back to our hotel took much longer than expected with multiple other families being dropped off first, and by the time we got back both kids were cranky and overtired. Rest of the Dubai days were smooth though.
