Use Varkala as the base for an excursion to Jatayu Earth's Center at Chadayamangalam in Kollam district. The sculpture is the central visit; the museum, theatre, cable car and adventure activities each need their own access and ticket check. The proposed scope leaves Jatayu entry and cable-car charges with the traveller, as separate expenses. Return to Varkala for the second overnight and an unscheduled beach or cafe evening. Vehicle timings must allow the outward and return journey.
PoovarDay 3 · Poovar
Check out in Varkala and continue south toward Poovar, retaining the planned Padmanabhaswamy Temple stop in Thiruvananthapuram. Entry eligibility, dress requirements and the visit window must be checked before arranging the day. At Poovar the proposed mangrove boat excursion links the backwaters with the golden-sand beach near the estuary. A licensed operator, safe boarding point and exact boat scope are still required. After the Poovar overnight, leave time for breakfast and check-out before the onward transfer toward Thiruvananthapuram.
