Fremantle Markets on a Saturday morning is happy chaos, we spent nearly three hours just browsing with the children. There was enough variety to keep both the kids and us adults interested, from food stalls to little craft stands. We finished the day with fish and chips by the harbour, which felt like the perfect Australian ending. Perth's relaxed pace made this one of our easier family trips in a while.
Enjoyable enough, but our evening Swan River cruise ran late leaving and the kids were yawning before we had even spotted a dolphin.
Trip itself was lovely but our rental car pickup at the airport dragged on past an hour over a paperwork mix-up, and with two tired kids that first afternoon basically vanished. Everything after recovered, the Swan River dolphins especially, but that start stung.
