Nice and Marseille were both charming though food near the main tourist spots in Paris was shockingly overpriced for what we got, especially with kids who barely ate half of what we ordered. The Louvre and Eiffel Tower evening were still the highlights that saved the trip.
Ambitious itinerary on paper, three cities in six nights with young kids, but it worked out beautifully. Nice gave us gentle mornings wandering Vieux Nice's alleys and the Cours Saleya market before things got busy. Paris was obviously the big draw and the Louvre, despite the crowds around the Mona Lisa, kept even our eight year old curious rather than bored. Marseille rounded it off nicely with sea views and simpler, calmer days before flying back.
