Standing on Narikala with the whole family, my mother in law actually cried a little seeing the old town below, that alone made the trip worth it.
Georgia was not on our radar until this package came up, glad we tried it - old city walks, the fortress, the monastery, all easy on the legs even with my parents along. Only issue was one of the nights our room was quite small for four of us, a bit cramped.
Mtatsminda Park in the evening was magic, kids on the rides, us watching sunset from the funicular, ten nights flew by.
Ten nights sounds long for one city but Tbilisi kept us busy the whole time - from Narikala Fortress in the morning sun to Jvari Monastery in the afternoon haze, my in-laws could not stop talking about the views even after we came back home. Kids loved the funicular ride up Mtatsminda more than any mall back in Bangalore.
Botanical garden waterfall was a lovely surprise, honestly did not expect that inside a city tour package. Hotel was decent, breakfast could have been better for the price.
