Uplistsikhe had our two little ones pretending to be archaeologists in every carved-out cave chamber they could squeeze into.

Basing ourselves entirely in Tbilisi for eleven nights is a lot if you have younger kids who get bored of the same base, we ended up feeling like we had seen the main sights by day six and were just filling time after that. Good value package but could use a day trip or two more built in.
Mtatsminda Park Ferris wheel at night with the whole city lit up below was pure magic for our kids, they talked about nothing else on the flight home.
The khinkali cooking class turned into the best afternoon of the whole trip. Our pickiest eater, who normally won't touch anything unfamiliar, ended up elbow deep in flour folding dumplings and then wolfed down six straight off the pot.
Jvari Monastery looking down over Mtskheta, right where the two rivers meet, was a history lesson the kids never noticed they were getting. Eleven nights let us take every morning slow and never rush a thing.
