Clouds rolled in for two of our three days in Darjeeling so we barely got any clear Kanchenjunga view. That was honestly the main reason we picked this leg of the trip so it stung a bit. The tea garden walks were still nice on their own merit. Just know the mountain views are weather dependent and can disappoint.
Gangtok to Darjeeling drive has stunning scenery but is genuinely a long one. Worth doing with some music and snacks packed for the road.
