Perched atop a hill, it offers unparalleled panoramic views of Shimla and the Himalayan range.
Manali's adventure hub, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and thrilling activities.
Nestled amidst serene surroundings, offering a peaceful retreat and a touch of ancient spiritual lore in Manali.
The Taj Mahal at sunrise with barely a soul around was the moment of our whole honeymoon.
Solang Valley in the monsoon mist looked straight out of a postcard, holding hands the whole cable car ride up.
Shimla to Manali drive was scenic though a bit long, but Solang Valley cable car made up for it completely. Jakhu temple view of the whole valley was breathtaking early morning.
Manali was gorgeous, Agra was hot and crowded, Taj Mahal still made it all worth it.
Early monsoon means you must be ready for rain and we got caught in a proper downpour on our Jakhu Temple morning, visibility was zero at the top. The Beas river walk got cut short too because of the weather. Agra portion of the trip was lovely though, sunrise Taj Mahal is non negotiable for any India honeymoon list. Would suggest going slightly earlier in the season if rain bothers you.
The Himachal leg was everything we'd wished for, cool air, green hills, and one quiet afternoon by the Beas river we still talk about. Then Agra, hot and crowded and completely different, but that sunrise at the Taj wiped away every complaint.
June (early monsoon, lush greenery, pleasant temperatures in the hills, but expect some rain; hotter in Agra).
