My wife has wanted to see Venice since college and this package finally made it happen for our tenth anniversary. Rome came first and the Colosseum tour was genuinely moving, you can feel centuries of history in the stones. Milan surprised us, we weren't expecting much beyond shopping but the cathedral rooftop views at dusk were stunning. Naples had the best food of the whole trip hands down. Venice's Vaporetto ride down the Grand Canal on our last evening was the perfect closing note.
Itinerary looks great on paper but the train transfer from Naples to Rome ran late and ate into our first evening, and our Milan hotel room felt tired and a bit cramped for a premium tier package. Venice and Rome themselves were wonderful though, the gondola ride and Colosseum visit made up for the rough start.
Great mix of romance and history for a couple, Milan's cathedral sunset was a lovely surprise addition.
Loved it, but our Milan hotel room felt tired and cramped for something billed as premium tier.
The Colosseum at golden hour with my wife beside me, goosebumps, plain and simple.
Solid honeymoon route covering all the big names, Naples to Rome to Milan to Venice in a comfortable rhythm. The Colosseum and Sistine Chapel are obviously the showstoppers but we also loved just wandering Milan's streets before the cathedral visit. Only wish we'd had one extra day in Venice.
