Oslo to Bergen train alone is worth the whole trip for the views out the window.
Bergen turned out to be the highlight over Oslo for us personally, smaller and more charming with the mountains right behind the old town. Floyen funicular queue took a little longer than expected on a busy Saturday afternoon. Hardangerfjord cruise more than made up for the wait though, waterfalls cascading right beside the boat at points. Would recommend swapping the order to end in Bergen rather than Oslo if you can.

Norway in June gives you daylight almost till midnight which made every evening feel like a bonus. Bergen's harbour area was our favourite spot just to sit and unwind after a day of sightseeing.
The scenery was everything we had dreamed of, but five nights felt tight to do both cities and the fjord justice, and one grey drizzly afternoon in Bergen kept us cooped up indoors. Still glad we came, just wished for a day more.
Hardangerfjord cruise was the single most awe inspiring couple of hours of the whole trip, cliffs and waterfalls on every side. Train journey from Oslo to Bergen the next day was almost as memorable just watching the scenery change.
