Nice combination of city, history and beach for a family holiday. Weather turned rainy for one full day in Cebu which meant we stayed indoors more than planned. Boracay more than made up for it once we got there.
Boracay itself was gorgeous, but the fairly mediocre hotel breakfast left the kids grumbling most mornings.
Really nice trip overall but rain caught us for a full day in Cebu, so we were stuck indoors more than we would have liked with two restless kids. Boracay made up for it the moment the sun came out, and the Crocodile Island snorkelling was a hit.
Fort Santiago in Manila kicked off the trip nicely with some proper history for the kids before the beach days began. Boracay's white sand genuinely lived up to the hype, our children could not stop running along the shore. Snorkeling near Crocodile Island was the highlight for all of us, so much colourful marine life just below the surface.
Great value family trip, Boracay alone is worth it for kids given how shallow and calm the water is near shore.
Genuinely good value for a family, and Boracay alone with its gentle shore water is worth the trip.
