Good balance of nature and culture across the five towns. Chillon Castle queue was longer than expected in peak summer but the setting on Lake Geneva makes up for the wait.
This route felt like exactly the right length for our family, nothing rushed, nothing dragging across the thirteen nights. Standing at Jungfraujoch with my kids looking out at the Aletsch Glacier was one of those moments where you just stop talking and take it in. Chillon Castle a few days later gave a completely different but equally memorable experience, medieval history right on the water. Maison Cailler's chocolate tasting was pure joy for the children, they still mention it more than the mountains sometimes. Ending in Zurich with a calm boat ride on the lake was the perfect way to close out such an intense trip.

Five Swiss towns in one family trip, Jungfraujoch obviously steals the show but Bern surprised us too.
Sights and pacing on this route, especially Jungfraujoch and the Lake Thun cruise, were fantastic but one of the hotel rooms felt quite tired and outdated for what we paid at this luxury tier. Worth flagging since everything else about the trip was excellent.
Ending in Zurich with a calm boat ride on the lake was the perfect way to unwind after such an intense route.
