Montreux by the lake was peaceful, exactly what we needed after the excitement of Jungfraujoch. The premium hotels made a real difference with a family our size, extra space matters more than people realise. Would book again without hesitation.

Took my in-laws along with our two kids and honestly this trip exceeded expectations for a group with such different energy levels. Lucerne's old town gave the grandparents a slow, scenic pace while the mountain excursions kept the children entertained for hours. Chapel Bridge in the evening light became our unofficial family photo spot, we have at least twenty pictures there now. Seven nights across three towns did not feel rushed at all, each place had its own character.
Seven nights across Interlaken, Lucerne and Montreux never once felt rushed, each town had its own character. Jungfraujoch was surreal for the kids, neither had seen snow in June, and the Maison Cailler chocolate tasting turned out to be the highlight of their whole year.
Montreux was pretty but had far less to keep the kids busy than Lucerne, a slightly flat note to end on.
Good mix of activity and rest across Interlaken, Lucerne and Montreux, though the little one got cranky on long train legs.
