Day 1: Old vs New
Start at Icherisheher (Old City). Visit the Maiden Tower and Palace of the Shirvanshahs. In the evening, walk along the Baku Boulevard and watch the Flame Towers light up (best view from Highland Park).
Day 2: Architecture Tour
Visit the Heydar Aliyev Center (designed by Zaha Hadid). It's an Instagram paradise. Dinner at Nizami Street – buzzing pedestrian street full of shops and cafes.
Day 3: Nature Day Trip
Hire a driver to see the Mud Volcanoes and Gobustan Rock Art. On the way back, stop at the Ateshgah Fire Temple. This takes about 5-6 hours.
Day 4: Brunch & Departure
Enjoy a traditional Azeri breakfast (Pomidor-Yumurta). Buy some saffron or caviar as souvenirs before heading to GYD airport.
