Built by Emperor Jahangir, these terraced gardens bloom beautifully in spring. Use a wide-angle lens for the fountains against the lake background.

A 3km pony ride or hike from Sonamarg. You can see permanent glaciers even in summer. Kids love sledding on the ice here.
