Weather in June was crisp and pleasant, perfect for walking around all day. Only wish the itinerary had one more free evening built in.
Six nights in Brisbane were exactly enough to do everything without exhausting the kids. Story Bridge Climb was the highlight for my husband, though I stayed below with our daughter and watched from Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park instead. South Bank's Streets Beach kept both kids entertained for hours and it did not cost a rupee extra. Loved that the itinerary balanced adrenaline for adults with easy wins for children.
South Bank Parklands gets packed by mid afternoon and we had to wait almost forty minutes just to get a spot at Streets Beach with two tired kids in tow. Everything else was fine but that queue tested our patience.
