Chose this over a shorter Europe trip and do not regret it, though by day ten some of the scenic train rides started to blur together. Zermatt at the end was worth the wait though, car-free town, mountain right there.
Solid honeymoon pick if you want variety rather than parking yourself on one beach for two weeks. Lucerne's lake cruise set a calm tone early on and Zermatt closed things out on a high, though a couple of the connecting train journeys ran longer than the itinerary suggested.
Mixed feelings on this one. The Montreux to Zurich stretch involved a longer transfer day than we expected and we lost half a day just moving between hotels, which ate into what should have been relaxing lakeside time. Jungfraujoch and the chocolate factory visit were genuinely lovely though, so it is not all negative.

The scenery across two weeks was undeniably gorgeous, but Zermatt's cloud cover robbed us of the Matterhorn on our first full day and a couple of connecting trains ran well over the times the itinerary listed. For a fortnight sold on seamless variety, those slower transfer days chipped away at the polish more than we'd have liked.
Our first big international trip together and Switzerland completely spoiled us for anywhere else. The Lake Lucerne cruise on a clear afternoon was the kind of quiet you do not get back home, and Jungfraujoch left both of us a little breathless, literally and otherwise.
